Capacity building project for Wellbeing Foundation in Uganda
The overall focus in this capacity building project is governance, project management, advocacy work and methodology for menstrual health talks. The goal with this project is to empower Wellbeing Foundation as an organization and expand the network in the region. The project is financed by Forum Syd.
Wellbeing Foundation will establish a Menstruation Station in Kisenyi, Kampala. The Menstruation Station is a concept developed by Wellbeing Foundation with the purpose to create as a safe place where menstruating people in the slumarea can safely handle their menstruation and will also be the location for several talks and workshops.
After capacity building together with My Period is Awesome Sweden in November the goal is to spread the method that the two partners has developed together. The over goal of the project is to reach 1000 girls and 1000 boys in one year with the end goal of creating a #periodproud and #periodsupportive population.
